Our first ever Halloween Hysteria Event was a great success despite the weather!

The Northville Historical Society partnered with other local groups -- the Art House, the Northville District Library and the Northville Democratic Club all provided ideas and volunteers for this exciting new event. The Art House hosted the pumpkin decorating activity and The Northville District Library provided materials for a display in the Hirsch Museum and help with our Ichabod Crane” reader of the “Legend of Sleepy Hollow” at the schoolhouse. There was plenty of candy for the children to collect at the various spooky stations around the village. The Demented Dentist gave out toy vampire teeth, and our very own Gypsy Fortune Teller gave fortune cookies. Despite the rain, many local families came out and everyone enjoyed the event. We are already planning more spooky activities for next year's Halloween Hysteria which will be held on October 13, 2019. #HalloweenHysteria
