Plan your wedding on the charming grounds or in the historic 1845 New School church. With exclusive use of Mill Race Village, your wedding can be held any time of the year. In the Church or outside in the gazebo, weather permitting, your ceremony will be a memorable event in this picturesque Victorian setting.  

Interested in booking the Village grounds for your private event? Grounds rental available for both half day and full day rentals. Option to rent the Cady Inn and/or the New School Church as well. You may also inquire into having the buildings open with NHS staff giving tours. Please note: Per city ordinance, alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited on grounds and all buildings.

Our guided tours last for one hour.  Docents with knowledge of the Village lead our guests through the buildings while telling the history of each. They will also share the history of Mill Race Village and the beginnings of the Northville Historical Society.

The Village grounds are yours exclusively for the entire day. The buildings are not open. This is usually for photography studios,  commercial marketing photography/videography, films, music videos, etc.
